Munis don’t need managing

Q

I appreciate your articles on muni bankruptcies. They are very timely for me. My investment advisor (broker) is starting to recommend that I put my muni portfolio under the management of a firm specializing in the bond market. What is your advice?

Although we specialize in municipal bonds, we have never felt it appropriate to charge investors for managing securities that we don’t believe need managing.

We assist our clients in selecting the appropriate securities to enable them to employ a buy-and- hold strategy. If we can assist you in analyzing your municipal bond holdings, please contact us.
