You know him as the guy who’s virtually unstoppable on the field and a fun-loving attention-magnet off it. So how does football star Rob Gronkowski handle the fortune part of his fame?
Turns out, he’s an inveterate saver and clear-eyed investor.
Gronkowski, the All-Pro, Super Bowl-winning tight end for the NFL’s New England Patriots, doesn’t touch his earnings, living instead off his marketing endorsements, he says in his soon-to-be released autobiography.
He eschews expensive cars and jewelry, and wears clothes from his high school days.
When it comes to investing his money, he revealed in a 2012 Sports Illustrated profile, he keeps it safe and simple: tax-free municipal bonds – advice he received from his dad.
So the fearless gridiron icon and prodigious partier also happens to be a prudent investor.
Who knew?
